The outstanding mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli captivates her audience in the Teatro Pérez Galdós
The Italian singer had no objection in signing autographs and chatting with her fans after the performances
The mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli, considered by the international critics as being one of the leading singers of the present day, captivates the audience in her first concert in the Teatro Pérez Galdós. After her performance on Sunday 21st, the Italian singer is to return to the stage of the Pérez Galdós today 23rd February accompanied by the pianist Sergio Ciomei, at 20:30 hours.
The audience gave Cecilia Bartoli a standing ovation who in return sang three extra pieces. The programme was composed of pieces by Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti and Bizet, to name but a few. The audience was delighted with the performance and this enthusiasm increased amongst those members of the public who requested her appearance at the artist’s entrance of the Teatro and were rewarded with her appearance.
The singer signed autographs, got her photo taken and chatted with her fans. In fact there were some music students who were unable to hold back their tears when embracing their idol.
