The original stage house underwent various refurbishments and extensions until finally it was completely demolished when the integral restoration works were carried out in 2004 with a new one being constructed with a base of reinforced concrete, with the cement located below the phreatic level. The stage house, an enormous structure weighing more than thirty tons, was constructed on this cement and raised and positioned with great difficulty by means of an extraordinarily large crane.
